This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Morehouse Instrument Company, 1742 Sixth Avenue, York, PA 17403 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 1 each p/n 200-10k proving ring, 1 each 200-3k proving ring, 1 each 200-30k proving ring, 1 each 200-100k proving ring, 1 each 200-1k proving ring for use in calibration systems to calibrate load cell and force measurement devices. The minimum requirements for these proving rings are: uncertainty 0.025%, readability 1/10 division, and sensitivity 1/20 division. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Morehouse Instrument to ensure that the minimum requirements are met. Delivery is required to be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland within 30 days after contract award.
