SOLICITATION FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES The District of Columbia Department of Corrections (DOC) is in the process of planning their needs for Pre-release Community Correctional Services. The DOC is looking to identify already established pre-release community facilities in the Washington Metroplitan Area. Some of the services to be provided shall include housing for inmates for transition from incarceration, vocational counseling and employment, meals, medical and drug and alcohol counseling testing. The services are to be provided for up to a maximum of six (6) months. Interested providers should submit the name, location of their facility, total bed capacity (indicate male or female) and the name and telephone number of the appropriate contact person.
