The following changes are made to the previous synopsis submission number 181084, posted 20 March 98: Solicitation number previously advertised as Request for Proposal number F65503-98-R0002 is changed to an Invitation For Bid number F65503-98-B0006. Award will be made on price and other price related factors only. The solicitation issuance date is changed to on or about 4 May 98. This acquisition is a direct conversion from Government performance to contractor performance. The following additional information is provided: The period of performance is 1 Sep 98 through 31 Aug 99, with four one-year options to extend for a total performance period not to exceed 5 years. The first 60 days of the basic period shall be a phase-in period. This contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is Eielson AFB AK. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency.
