In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, the Contracts Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to procure non-emergency medical laboratory testing services. Contractor to provide all services and materials to perform clinical laboratory tests of a routine nature. Contractor will be required to pick up specimens and deliver test results to the Naval Ambulatory Care Center located at the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC), Port Hueneme, CA. Contractor must be able to provide consultations regarding specimen results, performance results, methodologies and clinical interpretation of results, and problem consultation. Contractor must be fully qualified in the relevant profession and hold any license that is required by state and federal law. Contractor must meet or exceed Joint Commission of Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAM) standards for laboratory performance as well as being accredited by the College Of American Pathologist (CAP). Contractormust have a federal identification number issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Period of performance shall be for a 12 month base year with three, 1-year options.
