BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY CONFERENCE 98 NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER (NUWC), DIVISION NEWPORT 1998 BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES CONFERENCE The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport and the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) will host their 6th Business Opportunities Conference at the Doubletree Islander Hotel, Newport, RI on 25 June 1998. NUWC Division Newport is the Navy's principal R&D activity for undersea and submarine warfare and weapons systems. This unclassified biennial program is designed to disseminate NUWC Division Newport competitive procurement requirements and schedules for the next two years. Presentations by NUWC senior managers will focus on major engineering and support services contract requirements for technical programs. The presentations will address current programs and technology trends. The conference also includes workshops led by subject matter experts on R&D acquisition methods and the latest source selection techniques, including oral prsentations and multiple award contracts.
