Gray, debora.s.gray@usace.army.mil. The work includes site development and construction of 35 family housing units on two sites at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The units shall be as follows: 13- 1350 S.F. 3 br. units, 4- 1450 S.F. br. units, and 9- 1550 S.F. 4 br. units (new square footage). Two of the units shall be handicapp accessible. The sites are partially developed but the existing buildings shall be demolished by the Government prior to the Notice to Proceed. The contractor shall provide roads and utilities to serve the development as needed. Existing roads and utlity infrastructure may be incorporated into the development where feasible. The bid aslo includes two bus stop structures, a play area, volleyball court, jogging path and converting an existing NCO Club into a Community Club. Magnitude of this project is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $6,400,000.00. Duration of the project is 450 days. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. SIC Code 1521 applies. Solicitation documents are available from Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), 1641 Morris Street, Norfolk, VA 23511, (757)444-5968, in the non-refundable amount of $36.00 (half-size drawings) per set. DAPS will accept checks and money orders as payment, made payable to the Department of Treasury. Solicitation documents are NOT available for purchase from Norfolk District.
