Oliver, Procurement Assistant, 919-466-4786 Buildings 4464 and 246 are to be taken off the main steam plant by replacing the existing steam heating source with a single liquid propane gas-fired hot water boiler which shall be located in Building 4464 Mechanical Room on the southeast corner. An existing underground steam piping system running from Building 4464 to Building 246 shall be utilized to pump hot water to Building 246. Inside Building 246, replace the existing steam heating system and piping with a new hot water system. Additionally, demolish and modify manholes as indicated in the contract drawings, and incidental related work at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina, complete and ready for use. Estimated Cost Range: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge for the bid documents.
