The project work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment, transportation, management and supervision necessary to provide and install gabions for erosion control structure, construct up to 50 loose-rock grade control structures, and develop a primitive campground facility in remote site at Horse Creek Ranch in Dixie Valley, approximately 60 miles east of Naval Air Station, Fallon. All services and facilities necessary for construction period must be provided by contractor. Materials transported to site include, but not limited to, gabions, and approximately 150 cubic yards of 4 to 8 inch rock and 2500 cubic yards of 8 to 16 inch rock. Gabion erosion control consists of single structure approximately 12 feet high, and area is environmentally sensitive. Contractor will provide ten primitive campsites consisting of prefabricated fire rings, single prefabricated vault toilet, gravity-fed irrigation system, and provide and plant approximately 50 trees. The contract estimated dollar range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
