The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price (FFP) contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation to perform Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) on up to 12 EA-6B aircraft. The SDLMs will be performed concurrently with existing Re-Wing and modification programs to these aircraft. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the EA-6B airframe and is the only known source with the required engineering expertise, source data, facilities, and drawing packages to successfully complete SDLM concurrent with aircraft modifications in the required timeframe.
