Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to procure competitively a Netcool, or equal, Network Service Level Management System (SLMS) to run on existing Sun SPARC hardware. The system consisting of Fail-Over Object Server for Solaris 2.x; Bi-Directional Gateway for Solaris 2.x; Bi-Directional Gateway, Remedy AR System for Solaris 2.x; Unidirectional Gateway for Oracle 8.x on Solaris 2.x; HP Openview Network Node Manager Probe for Solaris; N.E.T. IDNX Probe for Solaris; BMC Patrol Probe for Solaris; UNIX Syslog Daemon Probe for Solaris; X11/Motif 10 Desktop License Pack for Solaris; Netcool/JEL Server for Solaris and Netcool/JEL 10 Authenticated Client Pack for Solaris will require installation, integration, training and maintenance/technical support. Interested firms have fifteen (15) days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities and requests for a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses received after the fifteen days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered.
