A -- OPTIMAL ACCEPTANCE STANDARDS FOR STATISTICAL CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS SOL DTFH61-98-R-00069 DUE 061098 POC Mr. Alan Finfrock, Contract Specialist, (202)366-0125 The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for a study to entitled "Optimal Acceptance Procedures for Statistical Construction Specifications." Under this proposed effort, a contractor will thoroughly and critically analyze the information available to designers of acceptance plans in order to establish knowledge-based guidance to assist acceptance plan designers in developing efficient, effective, and statistically sound acceptance plans. The proposed effort is estimated to have a 21 month period of performance. This requirement is designated for full and open competition. All interested parties my request a copy of this solicitation by sending a written request, referencing the RFP number, and two self addressed gummed labels to the address indicated above. Telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be accepted. Note: All RFPs will be mailed on 3.5" diskettes in WordPerfect 6.1 format to offerors submitting written requests. Amendments to the solicitation, if any, will be mailed either in hard copy or diskette format.
