Project is to provide medical transportation units with basic life support service for special events held within Washinton, DC. Contractor must hold a current license with District of Columbia for medical ambulance service. Contractor's personnel shall be certified EMT-trained. Work involves a specified number of ambulances on stand-by for transporting injured individuals. In addition, another specified number of ambulances will be used for both transporting injured individuals and as fully-stocked, first-aid stations. Approximate maximum quantity of ambulances needed for one event is 6 to 8. The estimated magnitude for each year is between $9,000 to $10,000.
