No proposals or capability statements are sought or will be considered for this procurement. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is negotiating a noncompetitive contract with Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for the placement of this West Valley Demonstration Project work at the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA), a division of SwRI and the NRC's Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC). The work will involve technical assistance to the NRC in evauating the environmental issues associated with the decontamination and decommissioning (D & D) of the West Valley Demonstration Project and the West Valley site. The proposed period of performance is approximately twelve months. This action is being negotiated on a noncompetitive basis with SwRI to maintain essential capabilities at the CNWRA (See FAR 6.302-3(b)(2)).
