SPAWARSYSCEN, Charleston is seeking interested sources and comments on a DRAFT Statement of Work for engineering and logistics support of various military departments and weapons systems manager to accomplish and overhaul support requirements needed to sustain aging weapons systems. The required types of support include direct support for design, integration, and testing modifications, maintenance, configuration management, quality assurance, first article testing and qualification testing, technical and engineering support analysis and other acquisition support needed to meet the goals and objectives under the Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Reform Program. This effort requires the offeror to have required knowledge, understanding and experience with major weapon systems, subsystems and components, including but not limited to: Army -- M-1 Abrams, HUMVEE, Patriot System, UH-1/AH; Air Force -- C/KC-135 Stratontanker, B-52 Bomber, E-3 AWACS, C-5 Galaxy, C-130, F-15/F-16, HH-53 Helo; Navy/Marine Corp DD/DDG Destroyer, CH-53 Sea Stallion Helo, SSN Attack Submarine; Joint Program -- SOCOM Force Equipment, Joint STARS and DEA. This procurement may result in the awards of multiple performance based, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type delivery order contracts. The performance period for this potential contract is 5 years. Firms having the required specialized experience with the above systems and capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements and those contained in the Draft Solicitation are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
