(RFI). SPAWARSYSCEN, Charleston is seeking interested sources and
comments on a DRAFT Statement of Work for engineering and logistics
support of various military departments and weapons systems manager to
accomplish and overhaul support requirements needed to sustain aging
weapons systems. The required types of support include direct support
for design, integration, and testing modifications, maintenance,
configuration management, quality assurance, first article testing and
qualification testing, technical and engineering support analysis and
other acquisition support needed to meet the goals and objectives
under the Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Reform Program. This
effort requires the offeror to have required knowledge, understanding
and experience with major weapon systems, subsystems and components,
including but not limited to: Army -- M-1 Abrams, HUMVEE, Patriot
System, UH-1/AH; Air Force -- C/KC-135 Stratontanker, B-52 Bomber, E-3
AWACS, C-5 Galaxy, C-130, F-15/F-16, HH-53 Helo; Navy/Marine Corp
DD/DDG Destroyer, CH-53 Sea Stallion Helo, SSN Attack Submarine; Joint
Program -- SOCOM Force Equipment, Joint STARS and DEA. This
procurement may result in the awards of multiple performance based,
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type delivery order contracts.
The performance period for this potential contract is 5 years. Firms
having the required specialized experience with the above systems and
capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements and
those contained in the Draft Solicitation are invited to submit
appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
Responses shall be limited to 5 pages and should be submitted to
SPAWARSYSCEN, Charleston, P. O. Box 190022, North Charleston, SC

Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm, (2)
size of business: average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of
employees, (3) ownership: Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a),
and/or Woman-Owned; (4) number of years in business; (5) two points of
contact: name, title, phone, fax and e-mail; (f) DUNS Number and CAGE
Code (if available); (g) affiliate information: parent corporation,
joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor
(if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime), (h) a list
of customers covering the past 5 years: highlight relevant work
including a summary of work performed, contract number, contract type,
dollar value for each customer reference, and customer point of
contact with phone number, and (i) interested parties should provide
their company status relation to ISO 9000 compliance and/or third party

GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE OR
8(A) SET-ASIDE BASED ON RESPONSES HERETO. THE APPLICABLE SIC CODE IS
8711 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $20 MILLION IN ANNUAL RECEIPTS. CLOSING
DATE FOR RESPONSES IS 10 DAYS FROM DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS
