The responses to this request for information shall be those respondents that presently satisfy the general requirements stated herein via an ongoing contract either with a government agency or non-governmental enterprise. Hanscom Air Force Base is conducting market research to find resources that currently provide education services and training support comparable with the following: 1) Education services, to include administration and customer service of a significant annual tuition assistance fund; to include testing services, such as the Graduate Record Exam, CLEP's, and GMAT; counseling services to advise on local and distance learning education options, scholarship, commissioning and professional military education programs; to include recruiting and monitoring on-base campuses of invited institutions of higher learning to insure compliance with Department of Defense regulations and Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education System (DANTES) requirements; to include operation of a distance learning center that provides access to government and higher education course opportunities 2) on the job training, to include monitoring self-paced technical job training in career fields such as civil engineering, computer administration, and financial administration; 3) formal training, to include coordination with higher headquarters and installation special project offices for acquisition training allocations; processes orders associated with those allocations; 4) civilian training, to include tuition assistance programs, long-term training opportunities and the processing of governmental forms. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, and is not considered to be a commitment by the government.
