Y -- CONSTRUCT A 3,000 SQ FT RANGE CONTROL HOUSE FACILITY SOL DAHA09-98-B-0002 DUE 052998 POC Point of Contact -- Tommy Dorsey, Contract Specialist, 404-624-6209, Contracting Officer, David Sullivan, 404-624-6203 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to construct a 3,000 Sq Ft Range Control House Facility at the Townsend Bomb Range, Townsend, Georgia for the Combat Readiness Training Center, GA Air National Guard, Garden City, Georgia. The work consists of constructing a prefabricated metal building with interior partition walls for administrative offices. Extension of sewer, water, and electrical services will be required. Also Site Work to include the following: 1) New drainage swales at Northeast and Southeast corners of property; 2) New septic tank, drain field, sanitary lines and connection to existing sanitary line from existing service building; 3) Remove and demolish existing septic tank and drain field; 4) New water lines to new building; 5) Revise main distribution electrical panel to provide service to new building; 6) Electrical service and poles have been upgraded by GA Power; 7) Telephone service to new building; 8) Site work for new building construction; 9) New building complete with concrete pads and ramp at doors. The estimated magnitude of construction is $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available o/a April 29, 1998 and requests for bid packages will be filled on a first come first serve, until supply is exhausted. Bid Opening date is set for May 29, 1998 at 2:00 pm (local time). An organized site visit is scheduled on May 13, 1998 at 10:00 am at the job site.
