The intent of this solicitation is to obtain pavement striping by means of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contract (IDIQ). The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis in accordance with DOD FAR CLAUSE 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all business concerns. The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 for the total contract period to include option year(s). Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Painting of new markings, and repainting of existing markings on base roads and base airfield, paint removal, and rubber removal at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC 27531. The contract performance period is 365 calendar days after the date of contract award. However, at the option of the Government the contract may be extended for one (1) additional year (365 calendar days). Multiple awards will not be made as a result of this solicitation. The guaranteed minimum contract amount will be $10,000. The maximum amount payable under the life of this contract shall not exceed $250,000.00. The minimum amount per task order under this contract is $2,000.00, and the maximum per task order is $100,000. This is a competitive negotiated best value acquisition. Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Only one proposal may be submitted by each offeror. Offerors should submit proposals that are acceptable solely on the basis of the initial offer. The Government may proceed with award of the contract without further discussion. However, the Government may request additional information from offerors that it considers to have a reasonable chance of being selected for contract award, and may discuss proposals with offerors. The Government will evaluate all proposals. Evaluation factors of equal importance are (1) past performance, and (2) price. Solicitations will be available on or about 11 May 98. Interested parties must submit their requests in writing via e-mail (preferred method) or US Postal Service. All requests must include a telephone number, full mailing address with nine (9) digit zip code, and current business classification (ex: Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, etc. ). All proposals are due to the Contracting Office by close of business (4:30 PM) on or about 11 Jun 98. The specific date and time will be specified in the solicitation. (0111)
