Provide labor, materials, and equipment to abate lead containing paint at USCG Family Housing units, Kia'i Kai Hale, Red Hill, Hawaii. Work includes wood and gypsum board encapsulation of some wall areas, vinyl soffit/fascia encapsulation of some lanai areas, removal and replacement of specified wood doors and frames, removal and replacement of specified metal stair railing, and paint encapsulation of various interior and exterior wood components, including ceilings, posts, beams and various trim. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is issued under and the resulting contract awarded under the Small business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). The construction range is between $250,000 to $500,000. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are acceptable.
