Baggett, Contracting Officer Eglin AFB has a requirement to Restore Covered Bunkers No. 1259, 1268, 1269, 1270, and 1271, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operation to restore covered bunkers to meet Air Force safety requirements for ammunition storage. This contract includes all work on igloo structures 1259, 1268, 1269, 1270, and 1271 on Eglin AFB. The contractor shall bid as an additive igloo structure 1238. Restoration of the bunkers includes, but not limited to the following: removing existing vegetation and debris from the top of the bunkers; checking depth from the top of the existing soil to the buried structure; adding any required fill and topsoil; and hydroseeding the new graded areas completely and installing an erosion control blanket material. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid opening of 11 Jun 98 is ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a nonrefundable $20.00 charge. All request must be submitted in writing.
