Barr, Contracting Officer NIMA Project STL 97-0017, Miscellaneous Improvements to the Destructor Room. Work consists of providing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof. Electrical requirements will include installing conduit, wiring, boxes, receptacles, and a reel light. Architectural requirements will include repair of masonry wall around existing conveyor system with fire rated wood members, providing sound attenuation panels. Mechanical work will include providing a makeup air supply from outside the building to the destructor cubicle with sheetmetal duct work. The construction period for this project shall be 30 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. NIMA Project STL 98-0121, Potable Water Service, consists of providing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those drawings forming parts thereof, to install a new 3 inch diameter potable water line. The construction period for this project shall be 40 days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Work shall be performed by a general contractor who has construction experience in mechanical contracting. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. The approximate cost of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be performed at the NIMA facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO. The facility is located east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in south St. Louis city.
