The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify an existing order on BOA N00019-92-G-0196 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, CT to add technical services in the refinement of airframe loads data for the MH-53E helicopter. The solicitation will require that the respondents possess a detailed, working, technical familiarity with the H-53E family of aircraft, and the ability to develop, accumulate, reduce and analyze airframe flight loads data. In addition to airframe loads' data reduction and analysis, the capability to correlate the flight loads data with existing airframe models will be required. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. is the sole manufacturer and supplier of H-53 aircraft and is the only company with the required capability to perform this effort. See Note 22. (0113)
