The government intends to procure the following requirement as a sole source acquisition from Kelar Corporation of Buffalo, NY: Timberline Precision Estimating Extended Software for two computer stations, Software Maintenance Program, Means Const Cost Data, and Course Materials for 8 renewal seats and 2 new seats. This software is required by the SABER program office personnel to generate accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, create price negotiation memorandums, configure cash requirements reports, produce monthly reports on total hours and labor and equipment costs, and automatically sort and summarize the material order quantities in each item by material class thus facilitating the process of identifying and evaluating material submittals. The training provided by Kelar Corporation will enable SABER program personnel to successfully use the latest upgrades to previously purchased Timberline Cost Estimating software. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued o/a 7 May 1998.
