325Th Contracting Squadron, Consolidated Acquisition Flight, Tyndall
AFB, Florida, requires development of an integrated Flexible Thin Film
CIGS Photovoltaic Power System for Bare Base TEMPER Tents. Item is to
be used for research and development testing, therefore substitutes
will not be accepted. The government intends to award a contract to
Global Solar Energy, LLC, 12401 West 49th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO
80033. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following: (a)
photovoltaic power module development; (b) TEMPER tent photovoltaic
power module configuration and integration; (c) photovoltaic power
module installation, integration, and startup test. The contractor
shall comply with an incremental, task oriented 120-day effort schedule
from the date of contract award. The Government shall provide technical
support and information requested by the contractor, The Government
will provide one TEMPER tent for integration of the CISG photovoltaic
power modules and personnel, sensors, computers and other hardware for
testing. Contractor shall provide all necessary man-hours, materials
and hardware with the exception of a TEMPER tent to fulfill the
requirements of this subtask. The contractor shall furnish all
transportation of materials and hardware to Tyndall Air Force Base,
Florida for integration into the TEMPER tent and testing. The
contractor will also provide one Senior Scientist or Senior Engineer
for a one week testing period at Tyndall Air Force Base. This notice of
intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the
Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after
the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the
Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon
responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the
Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent
will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining
whether to conduct a competitive procurement on this or future
