NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a cost-plus-award-fee type contract to obtain Administrative and Technical Services for NASA Ames Research Center. The effort includes support to the following functions: (1) scientific and technical information, (2) human resource management, (3) acquisitions, (3) equal opportunity and affirmative action, (4) commercial technology, (5) external affairs, (6) legal office, and (7) related administrative programs. NASA intends to select a contractor that has proven ability and expertise to perform all phases of the contract. The solicitation will be available on the NASA Ames Procurement Home page at http://procurement.nasa.gov/EPS/ARC/class.html. A draft RFP is anticipated to be posted April 23, 1998. Industry comments to the draft RFP will be due on May 6, 1998. The anticipated date of release of the solicitation package is May 8, 1998. The anticipated date for interested offerors to submit proposals is no later than June 18, 1998. A preproposal conference and site visit will be scheduled. See the solicitation for more information.
