R -- DEREGULATION ADVISOR AND CHIEF DEREGULATION ADVISOR ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO UKRAINE COUNTERPARTS SOL USAID/Kiev RFP 98-02 DUE 061598 POC Contact Point: Catherine A. Separate awards may be made for each advisor. The advisors will provide technical assistance to the Ukraine State Committee on Entrepreneurship Development (SCED), the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Reform s Working Group on Deregulation, and the International Centre for Policy Studies. Work will be focussed in four interrelated components: Support for legal/policy reform; training SCED and Licensing Chamber personnel; Implementation of pilot business registration center in Kiev; and capacity building of International Centre for Policy Studies. A term, cost reimbursement contract is planned, to include expected results and required deliverables. The planned period of performance for each advisor is one base year plus one option year, beginning as early as June 1998. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns; SIC Code 8742/$5M. The term concern includes but is not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association or cooperative. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format).
