The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, equipment, transportation necessary to provide for the Operation and maintenance of Irwin Army Community Hospital, the Hospital Boiler Plant and approximately 12 troop medical and dental clinics. The work would include maintenance of elevators, automatic doors, fire alarm and suppression systems, HVAC systems, compressed gas system, various electrical/mechanical equipment, and all utility services. Exterior maintenance would also be included which encompresses replacement of windows; repair of roofs and walls; concrete work including maintenance an repair of sidewalks, steps and parking lots; and grounds maintenance including grass cutting and snow removal. The Contractor shall as a minimum be familiar with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the criteria for Environment of Care applicable to the physical facility.
