U -- OCCUPATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM SOL RFQ #442-0025 DUE 061098 POC Dan Carrol, Supervisory Contract Specialist, (304) 256-4924 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Beckley, WV, intends to award a contract to the Contractor who can supply instructional service for an Advanced Occupational Education Program. The Contractor will provide these services to the inmate population of the FCI. These services are anticipated to be taught primarily during the evening hours, Monday through Thursday (Excluding Federal Holidays). Some morning, afternoon and weekend hours may be required. The Contractor must be a fully accredited college by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools or a comparable association. The Contractor must also be listed in the directory entitled "Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education" and/or be designated as eligible by the US Department of Education to receive tuition assistance funds. The Contractor must be able to provide an on-site program coordinator between the institution and a regular campus which is located withing 150 miles of FCI Beckley. The Bureau of Prisons anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract on or about June 26, 1998. The contract will include a base year with a one year, unilateral, renewal option period. The contract will consist of a fall/spring/summer semester format for the base year and option period. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is May 13, 1998, with and anticipated receipt of quotations due by June 10, 1998.
