V -- PILOT SERVICES FOR GREAT LAKES CRUISE 1998 SOL N00189-98-R-0002 DUE 052198 POC Winifred Wills, Contracting Officer, (757)445-2688 Ext. 10, FAX (757)445-2687 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to solicit for Pilot Services in support of the USS Samuel Eliot Morison's participation in the 1998 Great Lakes Cruise. It is anticipated that the pilot services will be required to assist in the sail to and through the following locations: Montreal Que; Ogdensburg, NY; Port Colbourne, Ont; Milwaukee, WI; Chicago, IL; St Ignace, MI; Sault Ste Marie, MI; Erie, PA; Cleveland, OH; Port Weller, Ont; and Oswego, NY. Pilot service will be required starting late June 1998. A Firm Fixed price contract is contemplated. Solicitation will be issued approximately 08 May 1998. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Written or facsimile requests will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation must state that neither the requester nor principle corporate officials and owner are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive a contract from any federal agency.
