Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to maintain the Protective Coating services. Services to be provided include Maintenance Management: receive direct schedule work orders through the Project Inspector, maintaining current data/status on same. Inspect surfaces to be painted for acceptable condition, quantities of paint and material required. Schedule resources to accomplish all requirements. Exterior Facilities Maintenance: Surface preparation, caulking and glazing, and painting. Interior Facilities Maintenance: Surface preparation. Installation of vinyl wall covering (or wall paper) and painting. Non-Architectural Surfaces: Surface preparation and application of protective coatings to surfaces. Remove old and install new markings, paint stripe streets and parking lots. Sign Making: Apply reflective sheeting material to sign blanks or hand painted signs. Painting by others: At the option of the government painting operations both interior and exterior by others may still be accomplished. The contract will not include large scale airfield pavement markings, Military Family Housing Units, complete painting of specific facilities (i.e. water towers and fuel storage tanks), or selected painting done by other contractors and/or base personnel. The contract period will be for a total of five (5) years (basic period with four one year options).The anticipated start date will be 1 Apr 99. This solicitation will not result in a contract if government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The applicable SIC Code for this requirement is 1721 and the corresponding size standard is $7 million (gross revenues averaged over the past three years). This project is being considered for 100% small business set-aside. Interested bidders are requested to register, indicating their business size.
