negotiate on a sole source basis for a turnkey project to include the
following: 15 each WallChart Scheduling Licenses, 2 each Progress
WorkGroup Server License, 15 each Progress Client Networking License,
15 each Progress Intersolve (ODBC) License, 1 each Progress ProVision
Software Developers License and associated Annual Maintenance Fees as
well as On-Site Configuration and Training (5 days), HTML Publications
Development and Telephone Technical Support from CL International, 500
Fifth Avenue, Suite 316, New York, NY 10110, phone (212) 221-9200.
Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304(1) based on only one
known source for this product. The commercial-off-the-shelf scheduling
software displays and schedules people, rooms, equipment and training
courses or events. The scheduling software is capable of LAN and
Internet access. It is capable of automated complex event booking,
whereby default resources are tied to events and can be obligated in a
single scheduling operation. It detects resource conflicts with the
ability to evaluate/obligate substitute resources and does not allow
double booking of resources. It is able to display schedules in
different time intervals for both selected resource classes and master
events schedule. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5045.
This requirement will be purchased under FAR Part 12 -- Acquisition of
Commercial Items. A commercial item is defined as any item, other than
real property, that is of a type customarily used for non-governmental
purposes and that has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general
public. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible
sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Award will not be
made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. Firms responding to
