This contract will support the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center (NAVPERSRANDCEN) for the design and development of personnel selection and classification (S&C) methodologies, databases, technologies, and computer systems. The objective of the contract is to optimize the military person/job match as demonstrated by cost benefits analyses. In general, the tasks to be performed will support the following research areas: (1) Military accession system research, (2) Performance prediction, (3) Performance measurement, (4) Classification and initial assignment, (5) Test validation, (6) S&C technologies. The tasks will require knowledge of psychometric measurement, test development and personnel assessment techniques and technologies, industrial organizational theory, statistical and econometric methods, and database management.
