COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 28,1998 PSA#2083ARMAMENTS FOR THE ARMY OF THE FUTURE (ARMY XXI THROUGH ARMY AFTER NEXT)
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION. Armaments for the Army of the
Future ( Army XXI Through Army After Next) International Symposium &
Exhibition, June 22-24,1998, Parsippany Hilton Hotel, Parsippany, New
Jersey. This Symposium and Exhibition will provide a stimulating forum
for the exchange of information and ideas to foster thinking, both
government and private sector, towards assuring the technologies
required for Army XXI, Army XXI Enhanced and the Army After Next are
available on a timely basis. Participants will carry away a clearer
understanding of the requirements of these three future force
structures. In general, strategic and tactical operations of the
appropriate time periods by Army Joint Forces and Allies will be
examined along with the platforms and munitions required to realize the
success of such operations. In addition to US military and government
organizations, ideas and concepts will be presented by industry, both
foreign and domestic and foreign military organizations. Speakers will

S. Caldwell, Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and
Acquisition, US Army Materiel Command; Dr. Joseph Rocchio, Associate
for Science and Technology, US Army Research Laboratory; Mr. Stephen L.
