of Labor Statistics, (BLS) has a requirement for Information Technology
(IT) Training for BLS staff. Most training will be conducted at the
Bureau of Labor Statistics site, #2 Mass. Avenue, N.E., Washington,
D.C. The successful contractor shall design, develop/revise and conduct
computer-related courses and seminars for BLS personnel. The curriculum
shall include a basic set of courses for systems development and
end-users. In addition, the contractor shall provide general concept
courses and a group of specialized and advanced systems seminars,
including courses to be developed specific to the BLS survey processing
and computing programs. Several special seminars shall be designed
specifically to meet the needs of the BLS. The resulting contract will
be for a period of one base year with four(4) one year options. The
SIC CODE for this requirement is 8243. This requirement is a 100% Small
Business Set-aside. All request for copies of the solicitation must
cite RFP L/A 98-24, and must be postmarked within fifteen (15) days
