The proposed procurement is to recoat the existing polyurethane foam system to the roofs on Building 431 and Building 431 annex. The work consists of making necessary preparations to clean, repair and recoat with a silicon roof coating system to approximately 21,375 square feet of roofing. Contractor shall be responsible for selecting and supplying all labor and supervision as well as furnishing all materials required to complete the job satisfactorily in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Spray foam shall be Dow Corning, General Electric Company or equal and be applied by manufacturer's specifications to insure a 10 year warranty with the said company(s). Prospective contractors will be required to possess a Virginia Contractor's License to submit a bid in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The work wil take place at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 20135 (Loudoun County). The Government's estimated price range for the work is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 This procurement is being issued to small business set-asides concerns that do business in the specialized construction area of roofing. The SIC code for the procurement is 1761 with the small business size standard being $7.0 million. A firm-fixed-price construction purchase order is anticipated to be awarded. A prebid conference and site visit will be scheduled, the exact date and time will be identified in the RFQ. The period of performance for the work is sixty (60) calendar days fro receipt of Notice of Award.
