The work consists of improving 150+75 stations of existing road and constructing 5+05 stations of new road . Work includes slope staking, clearing and grubbing, disposal of debris, excavation of road prism, removal and installation of approximately thirty-two (32) culvert pipes, construction of a retaining wall, excavation, hauling and placement of Government-furnished base aggregate, furnishing, hauling and placement of crushed surfacing aggregate, applying two applications of asphalt surface treatment and other related site work. Project site is located in Linn County, Cascade Resource Area, Salem District, Oregon. Project price range is between 250,000 and 500,000. Estimated start work is July 15, 1998 and performance time is 90 calendar days. Bonds are required -- Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 50%.
