The US Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to procure services to Load, Assemble and Pack a quantity of 8,190 105mm High Fragmentation (HF) M1-MOD Cartridges, with an option for and addition quantity of 4,800-5,800. This consists of Melt-pouring approximately 4.6 lbs of Comp-B explosive into HF M1-MOD projectile bodies. The assembly and package of the complete cartridge, include 1) assembly of cartridge (adding the M67 charge and M2A2 primer), 2) resizing M14 cartridge cases and crimping it onto the projectiles, and 3) packaging the cartridges into PA71 containers. Production to be completed within 19 months after contract award. The following will be Government Furnished Materials: Metal Parts Assembly, M67 Propelling Charge, M14 Cartridge Cases, Plugs, Box- Pallet Type, for 105mm How. Ammo., Container- Ammo.
