The U.S Army Special Operations Command intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed-price contract with Metatech for 346ea part number 25-35.27 and 116ea part number 25-04.7 EMI Connector Filters on the MH-47E and MH-60K aircraft. Delivery is estimated to be 52 weeks after contract award. The EMI Connector Filters are thin, flexible rubber inserts that are slipped between the pins of RTU J1, J2,J3, and J4 connectors. These disks include an array of discrete capacitors of specific capacitance that are suspended within the rubber body, and are connected between each pin and the connector shell via a web of gold-plated filament wires. A qualification test will be performed to verify the Governments performance objectives. The intended source is Metatech, 2309 Renard Place, SE., Suite 401, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106. Metatech possess engineering expertise and technical data to develop the EMI Connector Filters. Interested persons may identify themselves to the contracting officer.
