consolidated 5 year requirement procurement, which consists of the
Module, Drift Tube and the Module Kit, Drift Tube. Module, Drift Tube,
6665-01-383-6257, Part Number 442-070, is a component of the Chemical
Agent Monitior (CAM). It is used to detect and discriminate between
vapors of nerve and mustard agents. The Drift Tube Module (DTM) is
manufactured of plastic molds, flex wiring cables, molecular sieves,
coaxial cables and other components. Requirements estimated for 5 year
buy on the DTM are 1,263 each. The Module Kit, Drift Tube,
6665-01-382-8546, Part Number 442-073, component of the CAM. Kit
consists of a .025 inch thick X 6 millimeter (MM) X 12 MM stainless
shim, a piece of PTFE rod or tubing, 3.2 MM inside diameter X .51 MM
thick wall X 4.5 long, and 2 seals manufactured of flourocarbon
elastormer, viton B, 27.7 MM inside diameter X 29 MM outside diameter
X 1.2 MM thick and 8.3 MM outside diameter X 6.85 MM inside diameter X
2.6 MM thick. Requirements estimated for 5 year buy on the Kit are
1,644 kits. First Article is required on both items. FOB is Dest on
both items. The Government will furnished a Chemical Agent Monitor
(CAM) as Government Furnished Inspection Equipment (GFE), which has
nuclear components. Contractor is required to be licensed by the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission. For use on the Chemical Agent Monitor.
Estimated issue date is 25 May 98. This solicitation will be issued
electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and
14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing
