services for the assessment of laboratory performance and practices.
Services to be provided are for direct detection of MTB in patient
specimens using Food and Drug Administration-approved test kits for the
amplification and detection of MTB nucleic acids. The Period of
performance includes the base year plus one option period. The
anticipated release date of the solicitation is on/or about 5/12/98. It
is anticipated that award of a firm-fixed price contract will be made
