Description of Work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to grade, shape, compact the road prism and provide for proper drainage by the use of ditches, drain dips and turnouts to approximately 1.6 miles of the Schmidt Creek Road. When the subgrade has been prepared the contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to place a surface of crushed aggregate to the prepared subgrade. At each drain dip outfall the contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to construct a riprap apron on geotextile. At the end of the 1.6 mile segment the contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to construct an 8 to 10 car parking lot. The parking lot shall be graded, shaped, compacted and surfaced with crushed aggregate in similar form to the road. A Government furnished bar gate will be furnished for the contractor to install at the continuation point of the Schmidt Creek Road. Location: Work under this Contract is located in Clearwater County, Idaho. The work locations are shown on the drawings. Performance period is 45 days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 50% payment bond is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
