Haywood or Mark Toler -- Phone: 954 630 1164 -- Fax: 954 630 1165 The U.S. Department of State Regional Procurement Support Office and Foreign Buildings Operations is seeking offerors to provide materials/supplies in support of the Principal Officer's Residence (POR) renovation in Havana,Cuba. The items to be solicited are construction material ranging from steel bar and concrete to miscellaneous hardware. The total number of line items in the Bill of Materials to be provided with the solicitation is two hundred twenty seven (227). All materials will be shipped to the U.S. Depatch in Miami, Florida. A formal soliciation will be issued for this procurement action. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsible offeror on an "all or none" basis. Multiple awards may not be considered for this procurement. The approximate period of performance for delivery of the materials under the contract will be 3 weeks from contract award for "off the shelf" items and 3 weeks after approval of structural drawings for fabricated items. The Department anticipates contract award in Mid-May, 1998. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
