E-mail,keels@navo.navy.mil The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO)
has a requirement for self-contained, high speed, high resolution
conductivity, temperature and pressure measurement instrument systems
(CTD) to include spares, manuals, system support and training in
accordance with Government specifications and salient characteristis to
be provided. The CTD system to be capable of measuring depths to 6800
meters and telemeters data to deck unit. System shall include deck
unit, under- water unit with dual temperature and dual conductivity
sensors, pressure sensor, and all sub-system power and interfacing
cables (excluding sea cable), spares, operating, calibrating, and
maintenance manuals, system support and training. CTC systems and
software shall be fully compatible with WINDOWS95 operation system and
interface with other software packages. Conductivity temperature
sensors are to be capable of calibration separately. This is a
Simplified Acquisition Purchase under Federal Acquisition Regulation
Part 12, Commercial Items. Subsequent requirement type contract will be
for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity with an initial
established minimum of one or two systems and/or spares and a maximum
of four systems and/or spares for the first year with option for four
additional years to be determined by Government need and availability
of funds. Evaluations will be made based on technical compliance with
the Government specifications, past performance and price considered.
