Stewart, (202) 231-2825 This is an amendment to CBD Announcement No. 158754 dated 15 Jan 98 for Offensive Missile System Services. The announcement is amended to read that the RFP will be classified SECRET and proof of clearance will be required beforethe RFP will be released to a requestor. All contractors who have already submitted requests for the RFP do not need to resubmit their requests. The Virginia Contracting Activity will initiate action with Defense Investigative Service (DIS) for contractors without the proper facility/safeguarding clearances. Contractors are responsible to follow-up with DIS to obtain the required clearances. Note that at time fo contract award, the contractor must have Top Secret/SCI cleared personnel and Top Secret/SCI Facility and Storage Capability. It is anticipated that RFP No. MDA908-98-R-0007 will be issued on or about 17 Jun 98. (0118)
