Contractor shall provide a comprehensive, enterprise-wide modular designed COTS Operating Room Management System (ORMS) to include new COTS assemblies and subassemblies. All proposed equipment and all individual features shall be part of the offeror's or the original equipment mfr's standard line of equipment identifiable as catalog items. Proprietary hardware is not acceptable. Software interface development may be required. ORMS information system shall combine the ease and flexibility of a Windows NT application with the power of an expert scheduling engine and a sophisticated management system. The optional ORMS software component is an Enterprise Wide Scheduling (EWS) application which supports personnel work scheduling and patient appointments accross the entire medical treatment facility.
