Oversight Services for Construction projects located in the States of Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. General responsibilities of the construction oversight service contract will include but are not limited to: performance of quality assurance of all construction, review of contractor submitted programs and plans of operation, contractor's quality control program implementation, maintain progress schedule, monitor safety programs for compliance, spot check payroll records, coordination and communications with other agencies and organizations, etc. The solicitation will be accomplished in Two Phases to determine the proposal(s) which best serve the best interests of the Government. In Phase I, proposers will be asked to provide data which indicates willingness and capability to provide the desired services. Proposers will indicate the geographical areas and the type of construction projects [civil construction, military construction or hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste (HTRW)] in which they would want to be considered. (Project duration will normally be in the six month to two year range). Phase II, an amendment will be issued identifying the specific project type(s), duration(s) and location(s) to proposers who have indicated an interest in providing those types of services in that geographical area. Amendments to identify specific projects and locations may be issued for up to one year after the date established to receive Phase I of the proposal. The intent of the Government is to award one or more Firm-Fixed-Price Contracts. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about May 13, 1998 with the closing date for receipt of proposals on or about June 16, 1998.
