Z -- REPAIR FIRE PUMP HOUSE SOL IFB F41652-98-B0005 DUE 070898 POC Tracy Harris, (915) 696-3860 or Ron Miller, (915) 696-3685 Repair fire protection piping system and controls in Pump House Bldg 5001, Dyess AFB, TX to include provision of a new silent check valve, a new control valve, and a new above and below ground piping arrangement on the discharge of each of four existing diesel driven centrifugal 2500 GPM fire pumps; four each new fire pump controllers; four each new 250 GAL surge suppressors; modification of existing fire alarm control and transceiver panels; new electric motor driven jockey pump and controller; new system pressure relief valve; and new building electric service entrance and interior electrical distribution. Project shall also include the reassembly of a GFE fire pump and mounting the pump with a new coupler and stub shaft to one of the existing diesel engines. This project is a firm- fixed priced type contract. Estimated contract magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is unrestricted and open to both large and small businesses.
