14 -- TRANSMITTER SOL N68936-98-R-0134 POC Brenda J. McQuiston, Contract Specialist, (760) 939-7535 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure transmitters used as part of a flight telemetry system for test and evaluation programs under a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The contract will be awarded using full and open competitive procedures. The transmitters shall be fabricated, tested and delivered in accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings included in the solicitation. The solicitation will consist of four (4) First Article Units, eighty (80) production units and Option 1 with a quantity of twenty (20) production units. Delivery for completion of First Article Testing is 90 days desired, 120 days required, after award of the contract. Delivery of the Production Units shall be 150 days desired, 180 days required, after time of award of the contract. Partial deliveries are acceptable. Option 1 CLIN will be exercised in accordance with FAR 52.217-7 Option for Increased Quantity-Separately Priced Line Item Data in accordance with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLS) included in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award will be based upon greatest value selection. The evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation.
