The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center intends to purchase up to forty-five (45) reconditioned used flatcars. The flat cars shall be commercial standard 56 inch gage with a minimum load capacity of 70 tons. The contractor shall provide used railcars, material and labor to recondition, inspect, test and deliver the flat cars. Detailed specifications and minimum requirements will be set forth in the solicitation.
