The United States Government has a requirement for repair of all components within the ALD-9 system that is Sanders, A Lockheed Martin Company unique material. Solicitation N00164-98-R-0010 will be issued on a sole source basis with the Government negotiating with only one source, Sanders, A Lockheed Martin Company of Nashua, New Hampshire. The Government does not own the data rights in the drawings for the system or the test equipment and procedures that would enable them to compete the procurement and also ensure that the repaired item would integrate back into the ALD-9 system. It is anticipated that a requirements type contract will be awarded for a five (5) year ordering period. Delivery of the items will be required 90 days after placement of order. Inspection and acceptance is to be at source with delivery f.o.b. destination to NSWC Crane, Crane, IN. Request For Proposal N00164-98-R-0010 is to be issued on or about 25 May 98 and will be available for downloading via WWW at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane home page address http://www.crane.navy.mil/Supply.
