Summers (405) 734-9759 The 38 Logistics Squadron/LGCX intends to procure on a sole source basis local telephone service for 319 RCS (Recruiter Sites in Massachusetts), Portsmouth NH. The intended contractor, NYNEX (NEW ENGLAND NEW YORK TELEPHONE), shall provides the following services: (1) Commercial trunks and commercial business lines, for common user dial service within the local exchange area. (2) Inter/Intra Exchange Channel/Mileage from the base to various off premise locations throughout the local exchange area. The period of performance shall be five years from the date of contract award. The primary places of performance will be 319 RCS (Lowell MA, Wakefield MA, Boston MA, Quincy MA, Waltham MA, Beverly MA, N. Andover MA, Framingham MA, Middleboro MA, Taunton MA, Fall River MA, New Bedford MA, Hyannis MA, Brockton MA, Chicopee MA, Worcester MA, Pittsfield MA, Holyoke MA, Fitchburg MA, Springfield MA, and Burlington MA). This acquisition is conducted under the Air Force's regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). NYNEX (NEW ENGLAND NEW YORK TELEPHONE is the only local exchange carrier (LEC) who has the approval of the Massachusetts Public Utilities Commission to provide the required telephone service within the Local Access and Transport Area (LATA). The Government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) written against the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) basic agreement DCA200-91-H-0003. Note 22.
